Jacobs began her studies in acting in the age of eight and attended acting classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She was a part of the Pittsburgh Public Theater where she was a perennial contender for the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest leading her to be cast as Titania in their production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. Jacobs completed her studies at Lebanon High School, New York, in the year 2000. Her next move was to New York City to study at the Juilliard School. In 2004, she graduated with a bachelor's degree.
